By downloading, installing, or using InsightBite (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the app.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Premium is available as a monthly, annual, or lifetime purchase. Subscriptions are managed and billed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) — not by us. All billing disputes, refund requests, and subscription management must be handled through the relevant app store.
The meal logs, nutrition data, and corrections you enter into InsightBite are yours. You retain full ownership of your content. By using the app, you grant us a limited licence to process and store your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
We will not use your meal data for advertising, share it with third parties (beyond what's described in our Privacy Policy), or use it to train AI models without your explicit consent.
You can request deletion of all your content at any time by deleting your account or emailing us.
InsightBite provides estimated nutritional information based on AI analysis of food descriptions. These estimates are approximations and should not be treated as precise measurements.
InsightBite is not a medical device and does not provide medical, dietary, or clinical nutrition advice. The app is intended for general wellness tracking only. If you have a medical condition, eating disorder, or specific dietary requirements, consult a qualified healthcare professional before making decisions based on the app's output.
We are not liable for any health outcomes resulting from reliance on InsightBite's nutrition estimates.

Violation of these terms may result in immediate termination of your account without notice.
All content, design, code, and assets in InsightBite — including but not limited to the app interface, logo, brand, and written content — are the property of InsightBite and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
You may stop using InsightBite at any time by deleting the app and, if applicable, deleting your account from within the app.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will remain in effect.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of health outcomes, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada, unless otherwise required by law in your jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer in a jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under those laws.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you via email or in-app notice. Your continued use of InsightBite after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
